Adopt-A-Highway

There is an ever increasing amount of trash and plastic in particular covering our Texas roadsides and highways. The Llano County Democratic Club knew they had to get involved and do what we could to help clean up our environment while at the same time protecting the livestock and livelihood of our Texas Farmers and Ranchers.

We chose to adopt a stretch of Highway 29 beginning at Vernon Street in Llano, Texas and heading east for two (2) miles. We will meet to clean up this area once a quarter.

Should you have an interest in volunteering with us in this endeavor you may watch the TxDOT Safety Video
and contact the club by email at: llanocountydemocrats@gmail.com
